HeavyLift Cargo Group has exceptional experience and expertise in charter and freight operations. The highly-skilled crews have worldwide experience in civil and military-related missions. The management group has decades of operational experience in civil and military charter and special missions. Quite simply, HeavyLift Cargo Group offers an unparalleled solution in heavy, dangerous and uniquely oversized cargo. HeavyLift is licensed to carry all manner of dangerous goods including UN Class 1.1 and has scheduled traffic rights to Port Vila and Honiara. HeavyLift has been tested in Australian Defence Department charters carrying up to 26 tonnes of cargo on the 1,100nm route between Townsville and Honiara and flew more than 400 hours of missions supporting the police action in the Solomon Islands. The aircraft have provided both specialist carrying and a regular weekly service to the Solomon Islands, transporting general cargo to the island and flying back up to 20 tonnes of tuna fish for the lucrative Japanese seafood business.
